- They can be close in speed, but functionality is different. SCSI used to
- be significantly faster, have fewer size limitations, and be much more
- expensive. Now EIDE and FASTATA IDE drives are catching up, and are a very
- good option price wise.

- The advantage that SCSI still has is its ability to handle multiple
- devices. IDE is limited to, I think, two. Whereas scsi can handle lots.

- So, for price, IDE is cheaper. For quality, even odds. For speed, close
- enough not to make a difference. TO handle multiple devices, SCSI.
